The BEST rules (from promotions, etc) being: Blackjack pays 2-1, 5 card charlies, suited blackjacks paying more, 21 points automatic winner, etc.
Now, if you're going to ask people on these forums what they look for... Most of us just make sure there's standard rules (blackjack 3:2 and anything else is bonus)... But after that card counters look for PENETRATION. That is, how many cards get dealt before the 'cut card' comes out and stops the shoe. There's a lot more things that aren't math and on that list, but they're for counters and advantage players to look for.
