The Bolivar Peninsula Lions Club is sad to announce the Golf Cart Poker Run has been CANCELLED. The second installment of the PokerStarsLatin American Poker Tour's (LAPT) Punta del Este event just wrapped up from sunny Uruguay. The $3,700 buy-in Main Event attracted 327 players and outlasting much of the competition was PocketFiver Bolivar Ramux Palacios, who took seventh place for $37,000. The five-figure cash came just a few days after Palacios. In the recently completed Main Event of the PokerStars Latin American Poker Tour(LAPT) Rosario stop, Bolivar RamuxPalacios made his third LAPT final table. He finished as the runner-up to Martin Sansour in the $5,000 buy-in Argentinean tournament and walked away with $188,000. The Chilean and longtime PocketFives.com member has become a force to be reckoned.
The indictment was returned Monday but was sealed until Harris and his wife could be notified. Both are in federal custody on related charges.
The indictment accuses Harris of directing the robbery of a rural cabin near Bolivar where six poker players were killed. Their bodies were discovered March 31 in the burned ruins of the cabin 70 miles east of Memphis.
Harris and his wife have been held without bond since they were indicted by a federal grand jury in June.
The federal indictment accuses them of conspiring to commit robbery and arson in which death occurred. The federal arson charge carries the death penalty.

Harris’ attorney, Clay Mayo, said Friday he expected prosecutors would seek the death penalty against his client.
Also charged with robbery conspiracy in the federal indictment were Harris’ nephew Jammy Adams, 18; James Piper, 29; and Bobby Jacobs, 47.
Prosecutors say the conspiracy involved the holdup at the Bolivar cabin and a similar robbery in nearby Senatobia in northern Mississippi in which five poker players were robbed at gunpoint.
Adams has pleaded guilty to the federal robbery charge and to state charges of second-degree murder in the Bolivar deaths in exchange for a 20-year prison sentence. He is expected to testify against his uncle.
Piper has also pleaded guilty to the federal robbery charge.
