Tis the Season to Give Back
In light of the current LA County Safer at Home order, we are saddened we cannot host our annual community holiday event, Meet Me Under the Fig Tree. We recognize the invaluable contributions that the Santa Monica community has made in the past to the Westside Food Bank and Chrysalis in partnership with Santa MoniCARES.
Although we cannot hold our annual gathering this year, we believe it is important to continue that holiday tradition. If in the normal course of your day, you are able to stop by the Miramar, we will happily receive your donations (via contactless drop off at the hotel valet). Your donations will be added to our substantial annual donations to provide help to those most in need during the holiday season.

FIG, located in Santa Monica at the Fairmont Miramar, is a neighborhood bistro committed to fresh, seasonal cuisine. The menu features diverse Southern California bounty, sourced from multiple weekly visits to the local farmers markets and from specialty foragers that comb the coastline for hard to find items. And although dishes are added and subtracted based on ingredient availability, you can be sure perennial favorites like our Lobster Cobb Salad or Mary’s Chicken have a permanent place on the menu.
Executive Chef Jason Prendergast, trained in the classic French tradition, brings a fresh, modern style of cooking that emphasizes the innate flavors of each ingredient. Prendergast has longstanding relationships with local farmers, ranchers and fishermen, providing him with access to the best and freshest local harvests. In fact, he knows this farmers and fishermen so well that he can tell you where livestock was raised and what their diet consisted of, name the fisherman, and tell you where his catch was caught.
